chana masala recipe

Share now

This North Indian inspired chickpea curry dish is bursting with warming flavours like ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, and amchur which is a powdered mango! The chickpeas are simmered in a rich tomato sauce with sweet mango chunks, making it absolutely delicious when served with rice, yoghurt, and naan bread!

What do we love about our chana masala?

We’ve really diversified our plant-based ingredients with this dish by including at least 14 different herbs and spices. An increased variety of plant-based ingredients supports a healthy gut. The vitamin C from the tomatoes and mango boosts iron absorption from the chickpeas, ensuring little ones get the most nutritional benefit from these carefully chosen ingredients.
